Search for specific words or patterns in your text and replace them.
By default the search ignores capitals, so 'fox' also finds 'Fox'. Case Sensitive makes it exact. Whole Words Only stops 'cat' from matching inside 'category'; it works on English letters and digits, so with other alphabets use regex instead. Text you type to replace with is inserted exactly as written, even if it contains symbols like $.
Check Next moves through the matches one at a time, and Replace Match changes only the current one.
Tick Use Regex to search with JavaScript regular expressions. For example, \d+ finds every number, \s{2,} finds runs of two or more spaces, and (\w+)@(\w+) captures two parts of an email address that you can reuse in the replacement as $1 and $2. If a pattern is invalid, an error message explains what's wrong instead of breaking the page.
There's no undo button, so keep a copy of your original text before large replacements.
