Translate text to Morse code and decode Morse code back to readable text.
Each letter is a pattern of short signals (dots) and long signals (dashes): E is a single dot, T a single dash, and SOS is ... --- .... In written Morse, letters are separated by a space and words by a slash, so 'Hi there' is .... .. / - .... . .-. . This converter uses that standard international code for A to Z, 0 to 9 and common punctuation such as . , ? ! and @.
When decoding, three or more spaces in a row also count as a word break. Output text is shown in capitals, as Morse doesn't distinguish upper and lower case.
Letters with accents and characters outside the standard set have no Morse code here, so they're skipped when encoding. When decoding, an unknown pattern shows an error so you can check the spacing.
