Generate dummy placeholder text in paragraphs, sentences, or lists.
Lorem ipsum is scrambled Latin taken from Cicero's 'On the Ends of Good and Evil', written in 45 BC. Typesetters have used versions of it as filler since at least the 1500s. Because it looks like real text but means nothing, readers focus on the design rather than the words.
The generator builds random sentences of 6 to 13 words and paragraphs of 4 to 7 sentences from the classic word list, so each version is different.
Placeholder text left on a live page looks unfinished and gives visitors nothing to read; search engines see it as empty content too. Use lorem ipsum only for drafts, and when you can, design with real or realistic text, since actual headlines and paragraphs are rarely the same length as filler.
Nothing, really. It's a jumbled extract of Latin from Cicero, chosen because it looks like normal text.

Only if it's left on a published page. It's fine in drafts and mockups.
