How to Use Watermark Adder
Upload an image.
Type your watermark text.
Choose a colour (white, black, red or yellow, all see-through) and a size from Small to Extra Large.
Click download. The image is saved in the same format, for example photo-watermarked.jpg.
How the watermark is placed
The text goes in the centre of the image in bold, at 40% opacity with a soft shadow, so it stays readable on light and dark photos without hiding the picture. Size is set relative to the image height (4%, 7%, 10% or 15%), so it looks the same on small and large photos. Long text is shrunk automatically to stay inside the edges.
White works on most photos; switch to black on very bright images such as snow or white backgrounds.
Watermarks deter, they don't protect
A centred watermark makes casual copying less attractive and reminds people where a picture came from. A determined person can still crop or edit it out. For photos you're worried about, share smaller versions online and keep the full-size originals to yourself.

Can I move the watermark to a corner?
Not at the moment. It's always centred, which is harder to crop out than a corner mark.
Can I use a logo instead of text?
No, this tool adds text only.
Does it work in any language?
Yes. The text is drawn with your device's fonts, so most languages and emoji display fine.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The watermark is added in your browser.
