How to Use Countdown Timer
Type the hours, minutes and seconds, or tap a preset such as 5 min or 15 min.
Press Start Timer.
Pause and Resume whenever you need to.
When it reaches zero you'll hear a beep and see Time's up. Press Reset to set a new time.
Stays on time in the background
Browsers slow down timers in tabs you aren't looking at, which makes many simple online timers run late. This one works out the time left from your device clock and sets its alarm for the exact finish time, so it ends when it should even if you switch tabs. The time left is also shown in the tab title.
Timers run up to 99 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds.
Making sure you hear it
The beep uses your device's sound, so check your volume and that the phone isn't on silent. On phones, the timer is most reliable with the screen on: some phones pause web pages when the screen locks, so for long timers it's worth keeping the page open in the front.
