How to Use PDF to HTML

What you get

A single HTML file with light styling. Each PDF page becomes its own section headed Page 1, Page 2 and so on, with the page's text and its line breaks. Characters like < and & are escaped properly, so the file displays exactly what the PDF says. Images, fonts, columns and the exact layout are not copied: this is the words, made readable.

Scanned PDFs have no text to extract

If a PDF is a scan or a photo of a document, its pages are pictures and contain no actual text. Those pages will say no text was extracted. Getting text out of a scan needs OCR (text recognition), which this tool doesn't do.
