Convert text to UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, Sentence Case, or camelCase.
UPPERCASE and lowercase change every letter. Title Case capitalises the first letter of every word and lowercases the rest. Sentence case lowercases everything, then capitalises the first letter of each sentence. camelCase and PascalCase join words together with capitals (myFileName, MyFileName); snake_case joins them with underscores and kebab-case with hyphens (my_file_name, my-file-name). tOgGlE cAsE alternates small and capital letters.
Title Case here capitalises every word, including short ones like 'and' and 'of', which some style guides keep lowercase. Adjust those by hand if your publication follows AP or Chicago style.
Title Case and Sentence case lowercase the rest of each word, so NASA becomes Nasa and iPhone becomes Iphone. Check names after converting. The code-style options (camelCase, snake_case, kebab-case) keep only plain letters a to z and numbers, so accented letters such as é are removed; they're meant for identifiers, not prose.
Click Sentence Case. Then fix any names or acronyms that should keep their capitals.
camelCase starts with a lowercase letter (userName); PascalCase starts with a capital (UserName).
There's no undo button. Lowercase or uppercase can't restore the original mix of capitals, so keep a copy of your text first.
