Trim the margins of every page in a PDF by a custom amount.
PDF sizes are measured in points: 72 points make an inch, and about 28 points make a centimetre. An A4 page is 595 × 842 points and US Letter is 612 × 792. To trim half an inch from each side, enter 36 in all four boxes. The same amounts are cut from every page, so this works best when all pages share the same layout.
Start small and check the preview. It's easy to cut into the text if you overdo it, but you can always crop the original again.
This tool sets the PDF's crop box, which tells readers which part of the page to show. The content outside it is hidden, not erased, and someone with a PDF editor could bring it back. That's what keeps cropping lossless, but it also means cropping is not a way to remove private information from a page.
