How to Use Remove PDF Pages

  1. Upload your PDF. The number of pages is shown next to the file name.
  2. Type the pages to delete, for example 1, 3-5, 8.
  3. Click Remove Pages and check the preview.
  4. Click Download Result to save the shorter PDF.

How page numbers work

Use the page numbers your PDF reader shows, starting from 1. Separate single pages and ranges with commas: 2 removes page 2, and 4-6 removes pages 4, 5 and 6. Numbers beyond the end of the document are ignored. You can't delete every page, because a PDF needs at least one.

The pages you keep stay in their original order. Nothing is re-rendered, so text remains selectable and the quality is identical to the original.

Removing isn't the same as redacting

Deleting a page here takes it out of the new file completely, which makes it a safe way to drop a page with private details. It can't hide part of a page, though. To black out a line or two, you need a proper redaction tool.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it easier to list the pages I want to keep?

If the list is shorter, yes. Use the PDF Splitter's Custom Page Range and type the pages to keep instead.

Can I undo a removal?

Your original file isn't changed. If you remove the wrong page, run the tool again on the original.

Why does it say no valid pages were found?

The numbers you typed don't exist in the document, or the text contains letters. Use only numbers, dashes and commas.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The pages are removed in your browser with pdf-lib.
